Time Out

Well, as you can see, it's been quite a while since I've really really written here so, here goes nothing! And my posts usually are nothing much to look at... anyhoo...

Ok, so not much has been happening in my life except work. I'm like a horse, I work, eat and rest. That's about it. I don't even go online anymore, which is a shame. But I do have some time now but not really. I'm going to be moving in a few weeks to another part of town due to personal reasons.

I seriously thought of moving to another state but I think I'd really need to sit down and plan that out.

What else can I say? Hmm.. not much really, but I do have a pimple :p It's more like the one Worf had on ST: Insurrection... Go me!!

As of June I'm now working nights until the end of this year (insert boring yay). The company I'm working for has made some really, really stupid decisions over the past year-in fact there are too many too list. Let's just say the new building they've built and moved us into (as of Jan 2004) has cost them more than they thought. It nearly broke them so what did they do to fix that?? They fired some people lol, a lot of big shots were canned including our CFO. Now our CFO is the one that's in charge of the department where I work and that's sorta funny because none of us in the business office lost our jobs. I think that was a smart decision there. She really didn't do anything but take a lot of time off and shop.

But at the same time, the supervisors under her in the business office are too stupid to do anything but have meetings. For a while I hated it. But anyway before the CFO was fired, she had this grand idea that a collections specialist should work nights to help the night crew and guess who volunteered?? That's right, I did. Oh well. Now that I think about it, I'm not sure if it was worth it. I mean, technically, I'm over the night lead but I still have to report to him if I'm going to be absent. He's my lead but if I were to apply for his position, I'd be over qualified. Make sense? I didn't think so.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bragging (ok, maybe I am a little ;) ) but I do know my job and I probably know the supervisors' jobs better than they do. I can make a decision about something without having to have a 2 hour meeting just to come up with the solution of saying "we'll need to ask the CEO".

I'm ranting. I know so I'll shut up. haha. Maybe more tomorrow.
